I just found this game on Kongregate and really like it, however, nobody seems to be online anymore, the last update is two years old and the dev shows no intention to bring it to other platforms, Kickstarter or steam...

So, before is spend any more time with this title... this game can be considered dead, right?

old players stop in periodically, but yes, it is pretty much dead. in the active days, the game was led by both the designer and the lead programmer. the designer was the one with the people skills necessary to market/advertise/engage. when he stepped away, the lead programmer continued making updates (some really clever ones!) for a while, but completely lacked any skills necessary to attract and retain a player base. those who still linger around remember how great the game was -- and still could be, despite all the years passed. truly the hallmark of a great design (thanks jed!) and excellent implementation (thanks altren!). anyway, if you really want the experience, my recommendation would be to hang around a bit in the anyone queue and maybe find a game eventually. I wouldn't recommend paying anything given the non-existent player base.
