I just have only thing to add;
beta testers are in great advantage in this GC, as they had way more time to get familiar with new cards...
But I guess there's nothing what could be done with that..

I don't know about that... as soon as the set releases, everyone will be able to study the new cards in the set on the Market tab. And I'm sure there will need to be even more tweaking and balancing after the set releases before another GC occurs... so I don't think GC will happen "immediately" after the set releases. I'd bet money there will be a couple month buffer in there.

competing in and winning a GC means adapting to the other players and how they use cards. so while beta testers may be able to see some cards early, the advantage lasts about a week as new strats emerge.
that and it'll probably be a while after the set is released before the GC, plenty of time to "catch up"
