So the latest patch has a semi-realtime mode. You can only start the games form the 3d client but anyone can play them. It is kind of an experiment. You can adjust the amount of time that you are given for each round so play with that number if it seems too fast or too slow. The games aren't ranked so don't worry about resigning. It seems to be good for 4 player games since it goes way faster.
