There will always be a way to beat any given deck, altough some are harder than others. Keep experimenting and finetuning your deck, so that you will know exactly what to do in the situation.~Wicked~ PS: There's no limit. There's only death! X.x

I don't believe there's an enchant for corpses to do damage. Only two things I can think of that affect all corpses. There's the medusa creature that gives you sight to all corpses and there's Hallows Eve enchant which gives all corpses fear.

When you cast ancient battlefield, it specifically shows that the 'corpses' are soldier corpses with 1 attack, but no hit points...i figured that they did 1 attack because of that.

Continuing with corpses. Is Hallows Eve cumulative with the fear (like attrition is with the attack), will the corpses now have (2)fear if i cast two hallows eve?

Well the corpses can't just be dead goats now can they? I believe they have stats because of the card 'Reanimate' that can make them fight for you, although reanimating one of your dead units, or an opponent's dead unit will probably give you a better unit than the soldier!
I believe that abilities like fear doesn't stack at this moment, but I can be wrong.~Wicked~

As for the Ancient Battlefield corpses they are soldier corpses. If you reanimate one you'll get a soldier creature with 1 attack, 1hp, like Wicked said. I believe it also has 3 visible and 3 move, could be off by +/-1 there though. If you use the spell to return a corpse to your hand you'll get a soldier creature card that costs 0 to play.
To expand on jeds point of Fear doesn't stack, if you play two Hallows Eve. All of the corpses will have fear(1), fear(1). It just has two instances of the Hallows Eve enchant affecting them.
