Well, definitely consider me excited about this game. After talking with folks in the lobby (thanks for being so friendly) and reading over the boards and the cards, I think I'll give this a shot when I get back from my travels in the next couple of weeks.
But in the meantime I wanted to say that I'm also excited for the possibilities for story in this game. While right now it's pretty generic fantasy (with still a lot of creativity and beautiful art within it, don't get me wrong!), I think the whole "far wilds" idea is really interesting.
What happens out there, all alone? What is waiting out there, left to be discovered? What happens when people stay in the far wilds too long? Do they grow mad? Do they form new bonds and new cultures, and declare independence from those who sent them there in the first place?
There is a lot of potential there, as I'm sure the devs know. I just hope that after the balancing and programming becomes more settled, that more story will be added (at least to the website and flavor text...I know that single-player campaigns are difficult to program, and they aren't a priority for me personally). I'd also like to see more domains added. Or even some factions that specifically mix domains (the mountain people who decided to live among the trees, for example...)
Just some thoughts.

Jed and crew always seem quite open to player suggestions and input... I think it might be neat to maybe get some fanfic going if there are any players into that kind of thing... maybe Jed and TPTB have a background in mind already, which is quite likely, but maybe they'd like the idea of letting the players develop it then use their stories and background as inspiration for future cards... who knows...

the developer knows!
they should tell us some information.
or can WE (communitie) write a story????
i think we can help the developers if we write some background storys
we need a feedback from the development team

They'll get around to answering, they have something they are working on at the moment that is sort of more important  That said, I personally [not a developer] think it might be a cool way to drum up some interest if they start having contests for background stories and fanfic, winning entries become part of the canon lore of the game. Future card concepts might then be pulled from the stories along with the cards that the dev team already makes, so the two creative processes feed each other. Has there been a game that was developed by the players like that?? As far as I know it's a new concept but I'm not normally big on gaming... I'm not much of a writer but I rather like this concept... OHHHH JEEEEEEEEEEDDDDD!!!!

i can write a backgroundstory, too
but somebody have to improve it in better english

I write short stories now and again & wouldn't mind providing some background. PM sent seeing as how I appear to be blind when it comes to locating jed's email.
I think the idea of what exactly flux is in context could make for an interesting story; by its very nature it would be an imbalancing force. Maybe that is why it is found in the far wilds? Perhaps it is not found in civilization and the civilized tend to regard it as dangerous?
