Whats up with the prize pay-outs in brass? 49 gold for 4 players... highest prize is 16.
Last brass the average gold prize per player was just above 20 gold and the entrance fee was 25 to play. I know a percentage is took out but Im not sure if its 20% took out or what. I thought it was 5%.
I dont know if theres an error here or not but judging by this brass Im assuming theres an error in both.

Yes, it seems that the average prize per player goes up as more players join. This is weird - I thought that total prizes are equal to entry fees minus a fixed percentage - so average prize should be constant.
Right now it's 118 gold for 7 players, around 17 gold average. Better than 49 gold for 4 players, but still less than advertised.

Having a small number of participants wouldn't be a problem, if the total prize payout was proportional to that number. As it is, I feel I have to wait and see if there's a minimum number of participants before I can join (with a small number, even winning first place is going to result in a net loss). That's a shame, because it's really my favourite format.

Well brass was changed. It certainly seems better. It doesn't work as well for domain since 1st doesn't get their gold back now unless there are more than 14 players.

Awesome.
Didnt mean to cause trouble either.
Are the pay outs adjusted by the amount of players or are they fixed?

I think that the 1st prize would actually go down as more people are added, and will only be above 500 for up to 12 or 13 players. This is partly because of the way the prize distribution works, but mostly because there's a fixed 2000 gold added to the pot, and when you have to split these 2000 between more players, there's less for each one. Is it a problem that 1st doesn't get 500 back? I mean, they get 3 packs on top of the prize, so topping a domain still seems desirable.

"there's a fixed 2000 gold added to the pot"
In domain now the prices, added together, is just above 1000. So what does it actually mean that 2000 is added to the pot? should it really say 1000?
And there should be a grand price in domain even if no games are played, so one doesnt stand the risk of being the only competitor and get no price. The way it is now, the first player have to take a risk. this doesnt encourage people to participate. I dont intent to be first next time. Better to wait for others to join and be safe.

Cave: domain just hadn't been restarted. Look at it now.
