Is it me, or do new users completley ignore the tutorial put up? I continuosly see noobs that do something silly and then when asked about the tutorial, they're like, "What tutorial?" Jed, you need to do something about that.

Off topic, but is there some sort of signature contest going on around here?

Maybe we need to add tutorials in a huge signature.

OK... Raise your hands. How many of you read the instructions before you play with a new toy? I agree with you Z... It would be better for everyone, especially the noob, if people would read the tutorial and play the tutorial game before attempting a game against real people. But the tutorial info pops up whenever a guest or new account logs on for the first time. I don't know what more TFW can reasonably do to make new users read the tutorial.

Heck, sometimes the tutorial information pops up when it isn't your first time logging in (has happened to me many times). The devs REALLY want you to do tutorial .

UBER wrote: coughREWARDScoughANDQUESTScoughcough Putting all that crap aside, I will now mention the misfortune of ANOTHER player who failed to play the tutorial. This player played agaisnt the AI, and started with a Bone Fortress.... not really that great a move don't you think (not to mention the ai got some extra time to get its blunderbuss squads out :/) ?

If we had a campaign mode, I would force new users to play through this extended storyline-based tutorial before they could play real players.

How ironic, I just suggested a story mode a few days ago. Nice Idea. How about we force new players to play the tutorial? That way they can't just close out of it.
