Well hi everybody,

my first post and I just wanted to some up, what I think should / can change:

First of all, if you control more than +1 fluxes than your enemy, you should also gain +1 glory for each, so ...

+1 flux = 2 glory
+2 flux = 3 glory etc..

this is fair, as its a much greater effort to establish those buildings and have them up and living, also it will give games more speed, if this can be achieved, which is always a good thing.

I need to get some sleep now, but ill be editing this post tomorrow adding some more.
Everybody feel free to add their post, but please, 1 post, edit it if you need to something else.

Hmm... it's an interesting idea, but I think a change like this would push people even more towards "rush" decks, which is not a good focus for people to have, given the game dynamics already at work.

I don't see any reasons why this is better.
And the reason why it's worse is that it just removes some chances not to loose when enemy have more flux wells.

my suggestion:
make the game not too difficult, for beginers or the beginners will leave.
- make a "simple" singel mission campain

- give us a starter deck! so we can trade and collecting cards,
because a TCG without to have own cards is really shit, and i wont play 1 month to get my first 40 cards for a deck! nobody would normally

- let the player choose (maybe after they have won the 10wins against the AI) the starter deck they like and give them (maybe after some "quest" enemies a booster) then the trade and the fun! will begin and fun is the important fakt in a game, not hard work(on tournaments).

I wanna to help you to make a simple singel modus(a example;shotform):

In the lobby make a button called(for example)"discover the far Wilds 01"
when the new player click on it, he will fight against a AI.
At the beginning of the fight (or in the fight) there are a MessageBox. Like in the Tutorial game.
"Willcome to the single player modus of The Far Wilds,
you begin to discover this fantastic world. Create your first base on this landscape to start your big expansion.
But be carefull, in the Wilds are some dangerous creatures"

then there comes a second MessegeBox, it shows the whole background story of TFW. It should be
the same text like on the Homepage "The World"
(nobody normally read the homepage infos)
back to the fight:
the AI use a weak deck of animals. This is the beginning of the discovery the world.
normaly you meet animals and weak creatures at the beginn of every adventure.
this is the deck for the "animal"AI:

3 graveyard
3 elf domain
4 hellcat
2 toothless mastodon
3 ulg turtle
2 haunt
4 thistle falcon
2 sparrow scouts
2 undead octopuys
=
25 cards is enought, isnt?
this deck is simply and easy to beat (it is th first adventure)

When the player win this fight, he can see now in the lobby instead of the button "discover the far wilds 01"
-> "discover the far wilds 02"
when he click on it, he will start a fight against a AI.
this AI use a other deck, a very weak undead deck.
before the fight begin (or in the fight) there appears a MessageBox.
"You have built now your first camp, you must expand more to be a powerful warlord!
But that isnt so easy; after the demon destroyed the land, everywhere is the dead and the living animals,
who are outside transforms into undead beasts with out a lord.
they dont sleep, the dont rest. they are a dangerous creatures of the the evil.
You need a strong army to defeat them, or they will destroy everything you built and kill your peaple.
Be carefull, warlord!"
the deck for the "undead"AI:

3 graveyard
3 bone fortress
4 hellcat
1 medium of the 3rd circle
3 haunt
2 putrid zombie
4 zombie
3 undead octopus
2 soulbroker
=
25 cards
this deck is simply and easy to beat (adventure 02)

(here the undead arent the darklegion. what is the background of the darklegion, where do they come from?)
after this mission the player should get 1 gold for his win against the undead.
then comes "discover the far wilds 03"
and so on.
of course, you cant repeat the missions you have won. but you can try the missions again and again if you fail.

somebody other ideas for missions? (i have enought ;))

i dont think that is very difficult to program it, is it? (you work wiht javascript, i quess?)
the problem is only the story and the decks.


i have here a other kind of story:
the messages are spoken by our consultant (every warlord need a consultan)
the first adventure:

"My warlord,
we are now very far in the wilds, we should be carefull, nobody knows what monsters are here after
the ancident demon was defeted. our scouts have search this landscape for a good place to built a little base to
re-organize our troops. this landscape here looks quite and peacefull, maybe there are some flux wells we can control.
we should hurry up. i heard other warlords go in the wilds to search might.
but nobody can beat you, mylord.
So let begin to built our base."

the second adventure:
"'my warlord,
your scouts find some strange magic power, which come from the ancient demon.
we know that the ancient demon Diabolarus (yes, it comes from Diablo and raptorus ^^;))
is not dangerous by himself, but when he fighted agains our world he used chaos magic.
some parts of his dark magic will be here forever.
our priests find out that this magic destroy every natural magic.
the effect are strange creatures morph from normal animals.
we should be carefull, the creatures are undead and dont have a lord, who control them.
they are really killers, which are dangerous for your people and your buildings.'
you look at your consultan with a calm face. before you plan your expansion in the wilds you know about the effect
of Diabolarus choas magic. but this is nothing which will stop you. you are going to built your own empire and you
will defeat everything what want to stop this expansion. you look down on your consultan, and say:
'There are other danger in the far wilds, not only the chaos magic.
Order the troops to built the domain.''Yes, my warlord'"

(everything is only a example)

what a mountain post^^

anyway - I like his idea. Making the game easier for newly joined players is a good idea. Especially since its not crowded at all atm and its rather hard to climb up the ladder.

I dont really mind the current system, Im going to buy my next booster soon, got one right now, so playing about a week can give you the chance to build a mediocre deck with some luck @ drawing.

Making it easier for new players will make them stay, staying is good as the chance he will get addicted rises. As soon as they are addicted, they will start buying.

If you use this, the newest Expansion (newest Card Set or smth) should only be obtainable by paying. Cuz the payers need some sort of gimmik ^^
