Post subject: | Discard Pile: Why Not? |
Im on a casual game yesterday. After one of my creatures receives a entangle in the face, i cast a Knowing Despair on my friend. And he discards three cards as well. In some points in the game, i play around another entangle, holding a Disenchant in my hand. After the match, my friend said that i shot other 2 entangles and a creature with the despair, and thats the reason to make this topic. My suggestion is to create a "discard pile", to show all discarded/cycled cards A second idea (and more complicated one) is to show spells and "desinchanted" enchants too on the same discard pile. With a new game area, We have a lot of new card possiblities. Thoughts |

I think this is a great idea. Perhaps even some things that work with it. |

So something like graveyard in MTG. Yes we was thinking about it several times. Don't know if we will do this or not though. |

I think something interesting to do would having the players share the discard pile, like in "rummy". So you could have cards or effects that dealt with the discard pile, and it could work with your opponents cards too. It will be interesting to see what all goes in the pile, as many things leave their cards on the board, like corpses and ruins. |

I think implementing Discard pile would be another step how to TWF another MTG like game.. so no, I am against, I like it as it is, because it's original. Maybe as Lord said shared Discard Pool might be fun, but definitely not those 2 separated |
