Post subject:  Market Enhancement

So the other night I went onto the market to buy a couple cards. I bring the up the card, click buy... and what happens? An entry gets added to my "buying" list because the card was no longer available at that price. So I click "buy" again after it updates for the next gold price. Same thing happens. And then it happens a third time.

A couple things here--

1) It would be nice if the user were given notification that something was added to their buying list. New players could easily run low on gold because their account starts auto-buying cards they don't remember telling it to buy. I haven't tried it, but do tasks also get added to the "selling" list if you click the "sell" button and the buyer didn't have enough gold? If so, users should be notified of that entry being added as well.

2) Is there a period of time when the server can run a sort of "market cleanup" task? i.e., it goes through every account, and verifies that they still have copies of the cards they are selling?

3) Should a market cleanup task also remove items from the market if they've been up for a certain period of time? i.e., if you've had a rare on the market for two months, and no one's buying, you probably need to adjust your price.

So to recap, #3 is just an idea, but 1 and 2 would be good enhancements to consider.

Agree with 1 and 2: it's a common problem, and an annoying one at that. It might make more sense to just do a check whenever someone opens a particular card in the market to see what the best _valid_ prices are instead of doing a specific maintenance.

#3 I firmly disagree with. I frequently have cards up for months before they get bought, and then someone buys 3. any game with a market that auto-depopulates has a smaller market, period. there's no inherent reason why old = bad and it really just creates more work.

And PLEASE add a market history so we are better able to judge the REAL prices

It appears that #1 has been implemented, but it shows an erroneous market transaction in the history list. (I.e. a sell when none should have happened)
