Yes, I already know that battles can be in 3-d thanks to download. What I'm saying is that we make the overworld 3-d as well. Being stuck in a forum all day is okay, but I think it would also be nice to have a 3-d world with an avatar to navigate that world.

Would be neat, but sounds a little pokemon-esque, and definitely definitely definitely out of scope given the kind of resources it would take, and all the other work in the Dev's queue.
