Some thoughts to help prevent unfair manipulation of market prices... coming from a veteran manipulator of MMORPG auction houses... --Do not allow anyone to buy a card that they already have 3 or more of. This will prevent people from cornering the market. --Include a "cool down" period after you buy a card so that you cannot instantly put it back up on the market for sale. This will prevent people from buying up small quantities of cards they don't own in an effort to artificially inflate the price. --Consider setting maximum price restrictions for commons and uncommons. |

Quite frankly, I've also made a nice sum on some online game markets but I don't think that is unhealthy. It's the way the markets work in the real world too... If someone is willing to buy at that price, why not allow it to be sold there too? And I disagree with the price caps, we all know of some commons and uncommons that are much more useful than others, they will naturally be worth more as well. |

Dunno 'bout restrictions, but confirmation dialog might be handy. There're some people willing to buy rares for 5 and sell commons for 100 right now, so i'd better watch my clicks |
