Playing in leagues is great fun, but there is a problem with finding oponents due to the low numbers that join them. I therefor suggest that you start a frequent player reward system. it can go something like this. You get points for each "pay gold"-event you join. Ex: 1 point for joining a brass league, 20 for a keep card draft, 25 for a domain league, etc. When you got 200 points you can trade them in for a price. This could be like 500 gold. I also think that players should lose 1 point every week, so only frequent players are rewarded this way. But you should never get less that zero points. I think a price like this will encourage more players to join the events, and this will make them more enjoyable to play, wich again will increase the number of players. the numbers i have suggested is of course only suggestion. They could be anything. |

I agree with you that this game would be a lot more fun for me if it was easier to find opponents. I can usually find people for ladder games, but I tried my first league and was very frustrated with how rarely I could find people. For this reason I will probably not join another event with a gold entry fee for a while. I like your idea of rewarding people for playing in events, but I would suggest that people don't lose points over time; maybe balance that by giving less points per event. Players who don't have much gold won't be enticed by the rewards if it means they have to pay gold every week or lose their points. |

What I'd suggest is a reward for recruiting more players. e.g. when a new player joins, they can enter the user ID of the person who recommended the game to them. Once they have played 10 games, the recommending play gets small reward (e.g. 50 gold). Once they have brough their first 500 gold, the recommending player gets another 50 gold. Essentially, players should be rewarded for recommending the game to their gamer friends. |

Recruiting is okay, but it needs to be linked with purchases, not games played. People already have duplicate accounts and that would be a problem with what you described. I'd say have a referral program, where during the first 30 days after someone you referred joins, the first $10 they spend gets you a bonus of 50 gold, and for every $10 after that, 25 gold. |

Just voting, i think the "money spent bonus" is better, for the reasons pointed above. And its needed! We need more players, or the old ones can be bored in play with the same people ever and ever... I dont know with u guys agree with me (and please, Dont punch me in the face ), but if someone visit the gamesite at first time, he thinks the game is a "tibia-like" game. When we visit http://hero.netgame.com/ or http://www.joymax.com/silkroad/ (two MMORPGS) we think "this game is great!" even if that sucks (Hero Online situation ) ! TFW is AWESOME, but needs a better front door IMHO. Im not great on site programming (im bad, really ), but if some layout suggestions is accepted, i can give some shots, i think. |

TFW is great because it is so complex and you must think every turn, it is the ultima fantasy chess i think the developer are lazy but they arent stupid.(the designer of this homepage call them lameass-coder, lol, he is on deviantart.com) i mean, on the front page isnt the elemental domain.... |

The model of "spend money' other player earns , can lead to some situation like. I have a account, and i create another , buy cards and part of the money i spend be send to the other.. and i could also sell my cards for a sheap price to the other, meaning of a 10% more money. I think you could put some tournament sheaper and be part of the ladder, like a draft with the cost of 1 or 2 .. of course people will earn less , but part of it should be the fun, also if there are more players more money. Getting 10% of every game, is too much, i think its better to get less, at least until you are with more players.... The point is put people playing, put less money in the tournaments, and more frequent games, só people will play, more. Like a tournament with 35 every 3 hours instead of 75 every 5(or six i dont remember). |

Not gold, but real world currency. Obviously you'd want to limit or discourage multiple bonuses to the same people for multiple accounts. Quite honestly though, if it gets people to spend more money, it's not necessarily a bad thing. |
