I think you could make a campaign, where you set up a sort of dungeon crawl....
say make a board that is 15 x 6. you move from left to right, and then when you hit the right side of the screen, you go to a new "board" where you are again on the left side of the screen.

you could set it up so you have to move a band of creatures through some dungeon (say through the mountainfolk caves or the dark legion dungeon) and creatures pop out to ambush you.

you could also have a moving base (say legs of baba) that you take with you.

I think this could be a fun variation that should not be hard to implement.

I'm actually working on a story type thing, where the only way you could play the next level is by playing the first and so on where you only get the link to the continuing script after beating the current one. I'm basing the it from the story on the main site. As for the scrolling maps wouldn't that just make it a smaller version of the wilds? And I think that would cause a ton of congestion server side if a few people are playing it at the same time like in the wilds when it lagged so bad you could hardly do an action.
