The Prelude chapter introduces the character, the setting, and the Journeyman system.

Story,

out camping near the edge of town, a young boy and his father are attacked by local raiders. they have operated with impunity and increasing numbers of late, the local Duke does little. he father is killed and the boy must escape across a shallow river crossing and into the nearby town. This short quest will introduce the characters and the region, as well as hint at the larger plot, it sets the stage fo the rest of the story.

Good luck knight, sounds on par with Beastmaster and D(r)agon Quest already.
