altar of ix and return of the fallen

played altar of ix
played return of the fallen
when i sacrifice a creature, it does not go back to hand.

not sure if sacrifice = destroyed????
can someone clarify? thanks!

Sacrifice and destroy are not the same thing. Another good idea down the pipes... :(

Lol, a mistake like that can cost you the game. Same goes for Losing health and taking damage.
