Transplant is fine as is. It's not UP or OP. It sucks holding cards in your hand to play it so it's not OP. I think people with experience with it will agree. And you DO have to hold cards otherwise it's also giving the opponent a creature next to your base. Obviously it;s much tougher to one hit blade hurlers or is even stupid to use it with bomb squad.. etc. Anyways. There is a limited selection of good synergy with this card because mis-use will end up in giving up damage.
The reason it's UP if it is UP, I still think it's a good card, is there's not much good synergy with it.
The card dosn't need to be changed. A 2/1/3/3/1 one domain 2 flux creature needs to be added to chaos to one hit and be one hit by a lot of creatures. This would make transplant more useable with blade hurlers, and rat rifle as well as a lot of other creatures from other domains.

wellll uhm errrrr. mind trasnplant is a good card....definetly not op.....i think its price speaks for itself....its already went from 100g down to like 60g. ppl dont especially like this card altho i like it quite well and see its benefits.......the game will never be completely balanced. i think mind transplant is definetly a necesary card for chaos. without it what are they gonna rely on for heavy creature removal? psychotic break? theyll just disenchant it.

HIJACK ALERT!! I highly suggest creating another thread for transplant and strongly suggest focusing on whisk away here and the cards we are dealing with (mainly swap control cards).

Which is why there is now a Whisk Away thread... It's been completely ignored here.

yaron: why is it a 8 flux swing? Player A: casts 5 flux guy casts whisk away so spends 3 flux
player B: casts 1 flux guy casts 6 flux mind transplant so spends 7 flux
seems like the whole thing nets Player A 4 flux and a card. (and a dead glub bird I guess)

I admit yaron lost me just a bit. It appears his main point is that you have the potential to steal a 3 domain creature, thus spending less flux than normal to get a big creature. Of course, his example would also mean that the player with the Epic Vet has 2 wells to the other players 1... Though Epic Vet might just smash the building next round too. Mind Transplant has the potential to be powerful, but is also just as likely to not be a big factor against a deck with lots of small creatures. I still hold that Mind Transplant is difficult to use, although it sometimes is very good! Sagely, DarkJello P.S. I am gonna obliterIze your provinces harDcoRe!!

Im a little confused. If i understand this correct, whisk away on a creature stolen with mind transpland will give it, and the flux cost, back to the controller and not the caster, this is a bug and has not yet been fixed. Correct Jed?

seems like the whole thing nets Player A 4 flux and a card. (and a dead glub bird I guess) It does, but yarons point is about what happens in the second step. The first step, using mind transplant, gives a pretty common flux result. The second step, canceling it, turns it all around with a huge swing. Since getting to use Whisk Away in this way will be a pretty rare occasion, even that huge swing doesn't make the card OP. It does, however, make the game different. I think one of the strong points with TFW is that so many cards have several uses, owing much to the importance of creatures, which means that these uses don't have to be that strong to make the card playable. The more we go towards very situational cards, that has to give a huge payoff on those rare occasions when they are actually playable, the more matches are decided on who happens to have the right card/countercard for this exact situation (or who happened to pick a Rock deck when facing Scissors). Whisk Away is hardly the only card that strays into that territory, but I think it's an objection worth considering.
