Sometimes it gives right amount - 3 Glory for Dust Devil, but sometimes it's wrong - 6 Glory for Toothless Mastodon. Seen other figures that gives too many glory.

A total of 6 for killing a Mastodon sounds correct to me: 2 for the Champion + 4 for the Mastodon's ability.

Or did you mean that just the Champion gives 6, in addition to the 4 given by the Mastodon?

Heh, yeah, that was bad creature for testing :)
I tried to test more and to reproduce what I originally seen - bug happens only with Yalrinian Fiend and problem is with his ability that counts as attack and gives glory too (for yours and enemy figures).
