Hi. I'm pretty new to this game, but I've noticed something weird in deck construction. I have just recently acquired some new cards (in particular, Ascent and Tenderfoot Archer), and tried to add them to the default deck in order to slightly improve my chances in minor clash play. However, I find that it appears to use the copies I actually own to REPLACE the copies that are in the default deck. This means that when I try to add copies, it brings over what appear to be Phantom cards. In other words, it appears that I have to buy 3 copies of Ascent in order to increase the number that I can use in Minor Clashes by 1. Is this correct?

You can't use phantom cards at all for the minor clash (but you can play with the default decks), so if you want to modify a deck for the minor clash you have to own all the cards for it. When you buy new card that you have phantom cards of, the new ones fill the spot of the phantom cards in the decklist. You'll still have the old phantom cards if you want to modify a default deck for use in ladder battles.

So, let me see if I have this right. Ignore phantom cards for the moment. I can't modify the Default decks for use in things like the Minor Clash at all. I can either use the entire default deck, or an entire deck of cards that I own, but not a default deck that has been modified with cards that I own. Is that right?
