For me, I've always kept track of my transactions in TFW on a spreadsheet. I've noticed once in the past that the market history omitted listing a sale and I had to go back to compare inventory to see which card sold. I simply saw this as a small glitch since it was a double sale that probably did not get put into history correctly.

But then this past night there was a bunch of sales and 6 total sales failed to make the history. Is this a bug at all? I noticed that the failed-to-be-reported sales all were duplicate sales of something already reported. I also noticed that the game did report many duplicate sales normally.

I've had a similar case where I put in 'buy 2 @ x gold' and I do get two in, but only one was reported in the log.
