I had a game where someone played possession on my ghost ship and then used its ability. It returned to his hand. Is it supposed to work like this? I really don't like this interaction if this is how it works. |

Most card returners go to the controller's hand (and possession makes you the controller). This has other interesting effects; if someone ascents a creature you have charmed, it goes back to your hand, not theirs. If you ascent an uncontrolled creature, it disappears. |

The only card that works with caster and not with controller is Negate and is says "Caster of Entity...". And with Ghost Ship - "return to your hand": you used ability, you got card into hand. |
