This is the second time this has happened to me, but here goes...

I have a Trebuchet Encampment in play. Opponent has a creature somewhere on the map. I play a creature, see opponent's creature just outside of the field of vision of the Trebuchet. I autosubmit the Trebuchet's shot against the enemy. Opponent uses ascent on my creature, removing the view I had of the enemy. The Trebuchet still fires and lands a heaping helping of rocky goodness and the enemy.

During normal play, the Trebuchet would not shoot the, now, hidden enemy.

Hmm, maybe because since you qued it already, it fired even though it couldn't see the target. I've had the ai's Craig Scouts attack me even when they couldn't see their targets.

More autosubmit weirdness...

My Exalted One was ready to pounce on a Chambered Reef sitting on a Wandering Whorl... I put the attack on autosubmit. My opponent used the Whorl ability to take the Reef away. The game reported that the Exalted One still fired at the now out of range Reef. Exalted One's action was used up but the Reef took no damage.
