I was playing an EC and protected my Sar Mercenaries against a NBH with Fear..

However, the NBH attacked in anyway.

How is this possible? NBH is not a construct.

Interesting... does this mean that "Unaligned" is considered to be a domain of it's own? Additionally, the hunter is a ranged creature, so it should still be able to attack, assuming it was adjacent to the Mercenaries.

Hunter have same domain as Mercenaries, seems correct.

It was not within one hex, so range couldn't have helped.

So Unaligned IS a Domain.

It was ever since the game started. It's like a wild card domain.

I think I confused Unaligned with Uncontrolled.

One time my opponent played Psychotic Break on two of my creatures, so I tried to Arcane Adjust one of the Breaks to the other, but it wouldn't let me.

That's how I knew that Uncontrolled didn't consider things to be the same controller. I somehow carried that over in my mind to Unaligned.
