Buildings in this deck are:
3x Ghost Crypt
3x Temple of the Skull
1x Graveyard

Had Graveyard and a Temple in my initial draw. Played Graveyard and a Zombie on turn 1, then dropped the Temple on the other corner well on turn 2.
Drew a Temple again on turn 3. I didn't draw another Graveyard until all the Temples were played.
Temple of the Skull seems to be acting like a Fated card, but it is not labeled as such.

There is no more fated keyword... I guess it was autodrawing as a domain building.

Sorry, you're correct Ata. Got the terminology mixed up. But it is a condition domain source which should NOT be an autodraw building. I hope TFW corrects this.

I don't think it is a problem necessarily to have autodrawing conditional domain sources -- in fact, they can be very powerful. are there decks you could make where you'd prefer a non-autodrawing temple/quorumStone/treetop? probably. but in general, I think these cards become (much) more potent as autodraws.

that being said, I think it should be made clear on a card that it will autodraw. bring the "fated" keyword back. or, better yet, use an "autodraw" keyword.

I guess to me the criteria for whether or not a conditional domain source should autodraw is what the condition is. As far as I can tell, these cards are the conditional domain sources.

Sphere of Radiance - no autodraw, must sacrifice an ele creature to get domain
Quorum Stone - autodraw, must have 2 creatures adjacent to stone to get domain
Furnace of Gibil - no autodraw, must discard 2 cards to get domain
Temple of the Skull - autodraw, must destroy corpse to get domain
Treetop Dominion - autodraw, must have vision on 5 forest to get domain
Fairy Emissary - no autodraw, dim fairy and pay 2 flux

To me, the criteria for if a condition domain source autodraws is what the condition is - if there is additional cost for the domain the card should not autodraw.

Treetop will definitely give domain over time without additional cost. Quorum will give domain when you play creatures, which is something you do anyway. I agree this cards should autodraw.

Furnace, Sphere, Temple, and Fairy cost something, but Temple is the only one of these cards which autodraws. It looks like Jed almost agrees with me. ;)

Just to beat the drum a bit more about my original complaint... Temple autodrawing is especially confusing to me. It is pretty useless as an early game domain source because there any not many corpses around at the start of the game, unless maybe a rush deck is involved or the Altar/NP combo. I was wanting to use it as a replacement for Dank Pit... 1 more flux for 1 more health and an ability which may prove useful down the road. That does not work for me, though, if it prevents me from getting more Graveyards.

You forgot Heart of the Mountain... which autodraws and locks your domain up on maps with no mountains... unless you play it the proper way and actually create your own mountains if you really need to depend on them.

I was considering a "conditional domain source" to be one which does not always give domain once it was in play.
I agree Heart of the Mountain can be tricky and frustrating to use correctly because it can only be played on mountains. But, personally, I don't consider it conditional because it always gives domain once in play (unless a construction site, of course).

I think autodraw on temple is a good thing. best way to get a quick site to cast. temple of the skull is an underated card.
