I run at 1024x768 and it was difficult to read the message log before; but, with the recent interface changes, it is frequently now impossible. often can't type a message, either.

I realize most people are running at a much higher resolution; but, it seems silly to make the game near unplayable for newer folks running on older hardware.

What recent changes are you talking about? There was no changes in battle interface since small interface was added, that can be changed into old interface in options.

the log column (who played what, and the larg card picture) in dynamic and small interface (at least for me) now has 2 different widths and switches between them depending on where your mouse is .. thus making those 2 unusable .. sigh

Have the same problem, also my 7th card in my hand goes down a scroll level when the thing expands, and up a scroll level when it shrinks, making it pretty difficult to use that card without it contiuosly moving out of my grasp.
