I am playing a game using the new standalone client and midway in the game I had to get up (someone at the door) and was away for several turns. I'm guessing my timer timed me out. When I came back I started playing again and everything was fine for a turn or so then the AI simply stopped playing. On its turn it would sit there and its timer would timeout. I would then take my turn and it would timeout its turn. At the beginning of the next round it placed a building then started timeing out again. This happened for several turns then the AI played a whole round placing a couple of cards and moving a piece then it started timing out again. This kept going until I eventually won but only after waiting a bunch watching its timer...boring ;)

Game id was 53261. At least that is what the tab said but in the lobby it showed me playing in games 53278 and 53262. I never played two games at once so I don't know what those were.

I really wish there was a diagnostic or "open" mode or something where I could see what cards the AI had. Sometimes I'm curious why it's doing what it's doing (e.g., not casting anything) -- occasionally it actually appears to be a valid strategy, but other times it's just broken. (This isn't quite the timeout problem you have, I've had that too, but I've also had times when the AI seems to have just given up...)

So new problem: I'm using the standalone (is it no longer beta-beta? that's so sad) and the AI moves only once per round. Then it times out for the rest of the round, so I wait the full time, do something, wait the full time again, wash rinse repeat. Then when I pass, I go, and it goes again - but just the once per round. So it clearly hasn't disconnected.

Same problem here - computer just waits its turn out each time. Come on! Go already!
Game 51339.
