Maybe it's so 'coz entangle checks aloftness only during targeting. And card effect is purely terrain dependent. There're two separate sentences in entangle text.

If you make an Entangled creature Aloft, it still has movement of 0. |

To bring this back up, an entangled creature which becomes aloft by other means are also still entangled. Should this be? When you play Lightness of Heart, for example, it will display the creature as aloft but still have a movement rate of 0. |
