Can't target aloft figure with avalanche after it attacked

Figure attacked a ground target, should have been grounded for the turn, but was still an invalid target for avalanche.

Aloft figure is not "non-Aloft" after attack. It just can be attacked by ground figures.

In that case, why can't an aloft figure take to the skies again after it has attacked a ground target that turn, when it is undimmed by Abrixian Sparker or Manipulation?
