does anyone else have the problem where in a battle, the chat box will disappear and you have to click the arrow two or three times to get it back? It seems to happen if I'm typing and the other person submits an action, but that's far from bullet proof.

I've had the issue and been trying to figure out what causes it before complaining.. but your guess sounds about right.
