That'd be tough to code... you'd almost have to give people a freeform text box to type in whatever they wanted...

While faction could be fun [assuming you mean something like "Abraxian" or "Astridian"] they don't really make a difference beyond adding flavour. I'd suggest just "change domain of target creature" and it's settled in a fairly easy and equally useful way.
That said, how would this interact with cards like Fear, or which have that ability? Just because you look like a zombie doesn't make you used to the sight of the ghastly beasts...

I think that's the idea Mist... so if I had Greening and Barron of Dellen out, you could use the Disguise Hut to allow a goblin to pick up the benefits of being a Sylvan Elf.

Which is to say it's domain was changed to Sylvan and the creature type to elf. hrm... That's a bit much perhaps. I'm guessing the only real legit way to do that at all would be dropdown menus, but they have been avoided so well so far... LOL
It's a cool idea though... not really seeing a good way to implement it though

The domain change is easy - lord knows there are enough cards with that pie. But the race change definitely seems more difficult. That idea might have to be implemented through various cards (eg. an enchant creature "this creature is now an elf".)
That being said, you could get the greening bonus on account of being Sylvan, no need to change to elf status.

Well for Coding purposes... maybe you'd take the "Template" of a creature specifically, rather then choosing Domain/Race. So my Little goblin is all alone, when Greening is cast, disguise would be a list of all creatures and you choose "Baron of Dellen". He would get no benefit from the actual template, such as +1 Range, so he would still be a 1/1/1/1/0 Goblin, but have the same template as Baron of Dellen, Sylvan and Elf.
I just thought it would be easier to draw from "Domain/Faction" and "Race" since the list would be heck of a lot shorter.
Some of the Benefits of disguise would be...
When using "Meld" which only works on Elemental Creatures, the Goblin would be classified as an Elemental due to the disguise and be able to be Melded.
Greening would add all benefits if the Goblin was Sylvan.
Baron of Dellen would give +1 Bonus to the Goblin disguised as an Elf.
Red Imp (friendly) could teleport the Goblin disguised as a demon.
These are only a few examples of how cool this card could be. You could also potentially disguise the enemy teams characters within the 2 spaces of sight from the Hut.
Making that Baron of Dellen actually a Goblin. So he loses the benfits he would have given to himself.
Stuff like that... just some ideas for it...

Drawback would also be, the creature disguised doesn't get any benefits to his original race...
Hmmm to even further streamline it, what if you just took just 5 racial templates?
Elf (Sylvan), Demon (DL), Dwarf (MF), Elemental (Elemental), Goblin (Goblin)
That way you dont have a billion things to choose from... its simple and easy..
The reason I chose Demon instead of Undead is because of the benefits of the Red Imp, but Undead could work instead...

Which also throws out treent in favor of elf, both of which have various race-specific cards.

I cannot see a benefit to having a Treent Disguise...
Turning into Seedlings either by losing hitpoints to an elf or exploding...
Those are the only two "benefits" I can see for becoming specifically a Treent..
(Generic Treent mind you, not a Sapling which Tree Mother could do something to)
Elf has +1 Range with Baron > Turning into Seedlings
Greening works on Both
I am only stating if it is one costume per faction to streamline it, those are the ones I would choose.
