Novice Cardwright a wright is a builder http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/wright A Cardwright makes cards. This card is a creature that does just that, it makes cards. It has also been known to make other things from time to time. Units for other games, artwork, stories etc. As he is new to the Far Wilds, he is certainly a novice. Someday, there may be a Master Cardwright, who knows. Illustration: a gnomish man bent over a drafting table with a square and quill, there is a half finished card in a frame on the table, it is of a gnomish man bent over a drafting... Domain Cost: 2 Neutral Flux cost: 3 Attack: 1 HP: 1 Move: 3 Sight: 2 Shoot: 0 Abilities: Dim + 4 flux: Choose an entity in play, place a number of work tokens on Novice Cardwright equal to the flux cost of the entity. At the start of each Round, remove a Work Token. If there are no Work Tokens to remove, place a copy of the card in your hand. Optional alternate rule: If the entity was enchanted, or leaves play before all work tokens are removed, the card is a failure. This rule is offered as an option to limit the NC if it is too powerful. It could also work on cards in hand or your opponents cards at random. It could be a random card from the deck. |

As it stands right now, Dim + 4 flux seems a little steep. Consider Twisting Intentions, which also duplicates a card to put in your hand. I know there are a lot of differences between this and TI - notably the ability to copy someone else's card - but remember that TI only costs 2 flux. Blueprint also costs 2 flux. In fact, given the delay in receiving the card (and your opponent's chance at killing the Cardwright before his job is finished), you might not require any flux for him to use his ability. Alternatively, if our goal is to make him "novice," consider limiting his target to only cards with 2 domain or less. Just some suggestions, take them or leave them. |

hey those are really good ideas! Thank you. I made him kinda simple and poor quality on purpose, but those might be better ideas for keeping him limited. One thing I think that is important, is he can duplicate any kind of card, unlike Blueprint, and any number of cards, a dozen in one game is possible. It was intended that he only get one or two most likely. I like the domain cost limitation. I might use that and lower the flux cost. Thanks for the feedback ! |

if the art is going to be of a gnome working hen it must be a MF card. Wich i think make sence. If it is going to be neutral then theart must be changed. |
