Greening - SSS6 | Rare Enchantment Enchant World
All Sylvan creatures get +1 Attack & +2 MaxHP.
I've seen this whomp in the tournaments the past few days. Even falcons and treeherds become major forces. Sure it's possible you won't draw it, but almost anytime it gets out it wins the game.
I'd say that either +1 or +2 HP are powerful enough considering they apply to any and all sylvans. Both is just way too much.

But it really takes a helluva lot to deploy this card, and it affects all Sylvans, not just yours. Like many things in this game, it's a final nail in the coffin kind of card. leave it.

While it does give a large advantage it has a high cost for something that does nothing by itself. And you can get a lot of sylvan creatures out for 6 flux at any domain. I have not seen it as dominating the decklists as of yet and think it should be left alone.

Having played this quite a bit I think the problem is how attack/hp is valued. Turning a 1/1 into a 2/3 is quite a leap in terms of what it matches against. I've thought of posting this exact thread a few times but as mentioned, Greening is rarely ever on the table. However, as more copies become available this will become more of an issue.
I think +1/+1 would be more balanced. The same goes for a lot of the +stat gaining cards. Carrion Feeder should be +1/+1. Training should probably be +1/+2. And so on.

i'm gonna have to disagree on those, though training is above the curve a bit, 1 fewer HP gained it still be grand. I think down another would be too much, and carrion feeder i would agree if it started with any attack power, as it stands its usualy 2 turns work to get it to be able to attack. While yes 1/1 and 2/3 is a very big difference greening is getting dropped at the same tier as game ending creatures, its the equivilent of dropping lord of choas or volcanic pheonix, but for a weenie deck.

It takes Carrion Feeder typically two turns to even get a token (one to move, one to eat). AND it takes flux. AND it uses corpses, which are another resource for Dark Legion (it's a corpse you can't use to gather spirits, or reanimate, or count towards Death Mark, or or or). I already feel like, for one of the only flyers for Dark Legion, it's wimpy enough.

IMO, Carrion Feeder needs a upgrade. That 1 flux just adds insult to injury. It's so slow, almost to point of uselesness. And 'bout that Greening... dunno if it's really overpowered. Sure, it's really powerful and got good synergy with weeny sylvans. But cost is pretty reasonable, and everyone needs their ace in teh sleeve, after all.

I think when we have more ways to deal with enchantments in the next set, this won't be as much of an issue.
