One of the things that makes me come back to TFW is that there are so many viable alternatives. I have yet to feel that a certain deck I've met seems to be strong through a cheap use of some simple OP card combo. Each new deck I face is a mystery that unravels slowly during the match, and it takes several games to grasp the dynamics between two decks.
(The exception is the three free decks, and through phantom cards even those gets varied at times. Phantoms for newbies are important to keep the game interesting for the newbie's opponents as well!)
That's why I think these discussions are great. The further we get in variation, the stronger the game pulls us in. I really hope that this game keeps balancing the cards, through changes to the old cards as well as through new ones!
