Okay so I've got my soldier out and a golem shows up. This guy is kinda screwed but let's say I'm lucky and get two or three out. A lot of these guys are dead. So after two soldiers die most of my cheap imperium grunts/infantry seem to be gone... I don't want them to be overpowered but you'd think the army would have a little teamwork or have some advantage in pumping out soldiers. Is there some essential card called "multiply your soldiers" I don't know about maybe? Could the zero who slayed the moster become a hero maybe? What do I do with these guys and how do I start a decently sized army of wimpy teamwork using soldiers (I'm hoping for maybe a division of 20thousand but ill settle for slightly less) |

If they last long enough, you might have a former weenie be turned into a tank with enough tokens focused on it. |

It makes me sad that its so difficult to pump out more soldiers to fight. The pigeons coup card and peasant army are the only effective way I can think of. If I wanted to spend all that time and flux to turn a soldier into a superhero it seems like there are much easier ways. The problem would be solved if unaligned creatures counted as enemies. How many soldiers does dimwitted manticore have to mercylessly slauter before he becomes my enemy lol |

back when altar of ix did not dim upon use, I had a deck that would use the CI cheap creatures (mostly the 0 cost creatures) to generate a ton of flux, which I would then use for: bronze statue, peasant army, rithig and other fun stuff.... it worked very very well... i wish i had the deck listing... i deleted it when altar dimmed upon use. |
