I think this card it too Expensive. Because of that it's almost not using it constructed decks. (I never seen it in my games and not use it in my Sylv. decks). In my opinion it must cost 5 flux.
For example if compare Baron with DL unit Hosan Heresiarch - DL unit cost less have best ability, need 2 domain level. (yes I know it gold)

Sure, but Baron's effect is on all Elves, whereas Xosan is limited to creatures in its LoS.

I tend to agree with Grug. Even given the rarity he could use one less flux and perhaps plus one attack. Compared to such as the dwarven warrior or some of the other common heavy hitters he's a little weak. His ability isn't as game changing as Xosan. Perhaps with two or three out.

Perhaps an alternate solution would be to make it range +2 instead of range +1, at the current cost.

I have been playing with him and a deck i've been building, he does cost to much, all the ranged elves are quick drops, he comes into the picture too late, so i'm now only running one copy, I think his domain needs dropped a level but price left where it is cause it is a great ability, but hes more of a midgame unit, hes definantly not a finisher.
