Apprentice Timesap is a gamechanging card. He's just tough enough to not die immediately when attacked by low end creatures, and just strong enough to kill most buildings in three rounds. He's relatively well balanced, being a high flux cost but a low domain requirement. However, his dimming ability needs to be limited to his sight (which might also be reduced by 1 seeing as he's a gnome and therefore short). |

This guy is simply one of the advantages of playing MF decks. He's powerful, but expensive. Nerfing him to line of sight takes away one of the few creatures that make MF stand out and retain competitiveness. |

Agreed he is only useful until a second creature is played, then he can't stop them both. And it's freezing them in place.. it's not destroying them where they stand, so once you deal with him you are free to move about the cabin. |

hes not gamechanging but hes a little above par, which i think is always good to have not all cards stick to some cost formula, the big thing about him is his one domain cost, hes one of the best creatures at one domain for cost in atk and hp, the ability is nice but it makes him drain to thus losing the chance to bash something. I am in agreement that it should be within line of sight as that seems to be the precedent for most abilities is within the creatures line of sight and should stay universal in application, minus special notations. |

he's annoying to play against sure. but compared to say entangle, he costs more and gets more flexibility; I'd consider a mostly appropriate swap. I say mostly because he does seem a little powerful atm, but so do a lot of cards. |

You can hold down all sorts of nastiness with two, from the other side of the board. Or keep tapping a MOgi Nest, or Earthworks, or The Nothing. He needs to be modified. |
