Currently, if you run out of your "default" buildings the game is over for all intents and purposes. This is a distinctly frustrating and unsatisfying conclusion especially since you're limited to 5 of the default buildings in your deck and a lot of racial domain buildings are unplayable competitively. In general, you have a leeway of 2 buildings if you hope to ever hit or maintain 3 domain. I usually run out in about 25% of the games that are close and try to force the other person out in games I play (which is surprisingly easy and effective).
As such, I propose that under some combination of conditions, you are allowed to redraw default buildings. Say if you have none to autodraw and have less than 3 domain in the building's domain. Obviously the conditions could change if that's too lenient. It would most likely change deckbuilding a little, people would run less default buildings but only if they didn't want to mess with their draw/autodraw probabilities.
thoughts?

I think the solution is more cards to fill in the areas that are deficient.
I could see people easily manipulating this. For example, only play with one default building in your deck, and then so long as you don't have 3 domain, you'll just keep getting domain buildings fed to you.

That's kinda the point yes. And pretty much how it works now unless you run out of the buildings. If someone wants to decrease their default building to 1, that just means they have another 4 spots to fill in their deck so it's going to be less reliable. Seems like a fair tradeoff to me.

I agree with Suny on this one - let's get more domain-providing cards and see what happens?
