CI would not be as crazy if Trade Routes was fixed a little IMO. Fixed you say? Trade Routes helps both players you say? I don't believe so since nobody really puts together a deck with the sole purpose of running a ton of 3 domain cards. You can do this however if you are running CI with 3 Trade Routes. Sure you can put together a deck that can take advantage of someone playing Trade Routes, but said deck would be very ineffective against most other decks. The same can not be said for the player using Trade Routes.
BTW I still can't decide between CI and DL for most powerful, I think neither needs major nerfing, just slight tweaks.

UBER: You quoted Themist, but did not make a declaration yourself. I am most anxious to hear your thoughts on this matter. And curious if our conversation earlier tonight will somewhat surface in this thread. Do tell good sir. DarkJello

I think UBER was just seconding themist's statement. I third it. However, with trade routes as is. CI is strongest domain and there ain't a dang thing any of you DL haters can do about it

noob_mexiCAN: I am not so sure. You see, he copy and pasted that shortly after a full EC in which I beat Illithid's CI deck with... my usual DL deck! And trust me when I say, my DL deck is NOT the best DL deck around. Maybe I am just luckier than a gypsy on Halloween! Not to shoot myself in the gelatinous tenders, but I have decided that CI is pretty dang good in the hands of a master with the right cards. And obviously there are many nasty decks out there that are very, very good. Monyx and his current Sylvan rush come to mind... etc... DarkJello

Good work smello! Another victory for them zombies and demons and whatnot.
I'm still mostly backing up my original standpoint (regardless of hypocracy) that all the domaisn are equal if used correctly. All domains have strengths and weaknesses, you know.

I do not choose to avoid ECs, unfortunately, between 2 jobs, school and a family, I seldom am available to play in them. Really annoys me when I log in 1 minute after an EC starts. It took a lot of tweaking to make CI good enough to win ECs and it did win me some for a while, but lately I have not been so lucky. Mono-DL decks are always a pain, I would put myself at best 50/50 with I believe a zero percent win record against angelathest's deck(which is admittedly not 100% DL, annoying earthquake.) Lately it seems that decks have advanced in quality quite a bit, I am often being eliminated first round in ECs with my trade routes deck. My CI deck still finds itself slow against rapid expansion decks, something that I am happy to see not be to prevalent in the HoC form yet. Though my CI deck is very heavily 3rd domain, it still has issues against late game decks too.
