Yesterday I encountered an irritating to the max card THREE battles in a row!*!

The card is callled...

well, I think it is spelled...

"UBER"

Now that is one frustratingly, bizarre, and virtually evil, Sylvan, whore rush card right there!

Toodles,

DarkJello :geek:

Bah, sylvan no longer rush, theyre on the defensive most of the time... except if youre playing against those 1domain cards only, dispell flux rush decks. You know when your opponent plays 10 1/1 creatures (Sylvan or Imperial) and every card you draw is not a hailstorm, iron porcupine, <insert card that single handedly kills all the opponents deck by itself>, or weenie or anti-weenie weenie, blah blah weenie weeenie weeenie weenie i say weenie such a funny word weenie wwweeeennnniiiieeeee!!!!!

ok ok im calm(er) now.

weeenie!weeeeeniee!!!

Ok seriously now.

weeeeenie!!

oh hell, out of spite comming soon: bells of dorn, seedburst saplings, and fire intersection, scorched. AND OUT-WEEENIE THE WEEENIES!!!!!!!!!!!buahahahahaha

Each of those saplings is a 1/1/3/3 for 2 flux and require view of the space for activation. Useful, but not all that amazing. They're also pretty much useless (except with Graft) if they end up in water or occupied spaces.

Creeping Doom can counter every sapling activation at a net 0 cost. Treeherds or Hex chasers can get rid of them all quickly (Granted, Treeherds are Sylvan too and Hex Chasers are 3-Domain).

If Sylvan no longer rushes, what do they do? Sylvan is pretty much rush and not much else except as support for another faction.

Well, after going against themist for a few times, I have found there are cards I hate even more than Hadth's Drill Sergeant.

IT'S THAT CRAZY CINDER MOGI! This card allows you to infinitley loop cards like Sleet Mogi and Ghost Ship if you have enough flux, demolishing anything in the way!

Same goes for Ord Beast if you have enough flux to kill.

If you combo that with some Scorched Horizons and Ord Stone, and Ta Da, the infinite kill loop. :P

It's a nasty combo, to be sure, but to date there are no "infinite" loops in TFW.

In my opinion cinder mogi isn't worth playing in a deck. It has some of the worst stats at its cost and its ability is situational, only helping on defense and making cinder mogi an essentially useless attacker since it can help the opponent too. Sure you can loop the return to hand cards with it to do 1 damage for 3 or 5 flux but arc mage does it for 2 flux and ord beast does even better. And although a surprise attack on guys that are going after your base is good it pretty much only happens after you've lost your army, your buildings have taken damage, you stored up lots of flux, got multiple cards in hand ready and your opponent is not expecting it.

And although it does not create an infinite loop, infinite loops do exist in TFW though they are quite difficult to construct.

/agree on Cinder Mogi

I love casting creatures next to it that don't require base to spawn. :-)

Well, one easy combo to to use would be Astridian Bazaar, Schored Horizons, and Ord Stone.
That should give you max 7 cards to discard and 21 flux gain.
Cinder Mogi is a pathetic fighter, but I think it's meant more as a support role. And that's why it's annoying.

its only infinite in the sense that you get infinite flux in infinite time since you have to wait a turn for the bazaar to undim if you want to use it again, but just taking infinite turns gets infinite flux so thats not really an infinite combo. The simplest infinite combo i know of is 2x Blaze of Abrixia, Altar of Ix, Fire Beetle then one activation of the beetle gets 2 flamkins which can be sacrifice for 4 flux netting +1 flux each time.

Heheh @ Dark (thanks for the wins Im assuming)

@Cinder mogi

Your forgetting it undims creatures. Not just sleet mogi but any creature and there arent many creatures that can spawn in your area of control.

In expansion, where you can hide cinder mogis vision in your area of control cinder mogi is "good" card and its ability to undim your creatures is a benefit regardless is you dont recieve a suprise factor from undiming it as you would manipulation.

Also, with abraxian sparkers, cinder dose have the suprise element mentioned above.
