I am sorry Knight, but I don't see how your last deck is playable.

Your buildings are incredibly expensive, I will have the whole map covered with my Vapor Mahals/Bamboo watchtowers/Beacons of Caleodor before you get your second flux well.

Also, WIN creatures? This game definetly is not about getting your Barkskin Dragon out, just to see it ascented.

Morph: You need 21 mana spent on domain buildings before you can cast it(doubt you will go for 2 sylvan domains before having 1 DL), and all of those domain buildings you will have to cast near your first flux well, because I don't think you will be able to spend 7 flux and hold the construction site in the middle of the map for four turns with your deck.

So my bottom line is, deck is fine for playing against new players, but won't stand up to a real challenge.

I discussed a bit yesterday with Knight about this deck. I think the fundamental idea is original (at least, i haven't seen it around so far) and has some potential: little, low cost creatures turned unexpectedly big, along with some additional tricks. Who knows if it's a winning idea. Unfortunately, as it is now the deck is very vulnerable against lots of counters (heavy creature removal or building removal, for example). And, as Hithlum pointed out, it is not quick enough (yeah, that's the major issue) and wouldn't stand a chance in a serious minor clash. It definitely needs polishing.

Well, what if I was to go Vapor Mahal, Then my next Domain Building immediatly after. Thats two domain Turn 2. Would that speed it up a bit? I just think that there has to be a way to defend those buildings. What about going 3 color? Mountain Folk, Elemental and Sylvan. You could use Negate and Dew Mogi to deal with Removal Decks. In fact, even though losing Ivory Tower is sad, what about going just E+MF? You could play buildings like Haderaks Fort and Earthworks, as expensive as those are, and use the Dwarf repair and reconstruction cards to keep the buildings controlling the field. And MF have enough awesome creatures to win the game. (AXE CAPTAIN, THE DRILL SARGEANT). Elemental could provide anti craeture artillery. I like the idea of a defensive deck, but it still seems slow. I guess the idea is take and hold, but speeding up the take is important.

Mate, you need to decide what you want :) I mean you just went from willing to play S+DL to pondering about going E+MF :)
For a heavy building MF+E deck - ask Faxos, he plays one :)

Knight, as I mentioned earlier, go and purchase cards one by one only if you have a strategy (a "project") in mind. Otherwise, you end up spending lots of gold for a mediocre deck. We can help giving you advices but we won't build up the deck for you (and I'm sure you don't want it either).

My suggestion is: practice the game more (a deck is important but being a skilled player matters much more), try to play mainly against good players, see what cards they use, think of why they do it... steal their secrets! ;) And for the moment, if you want to purchase cards (but probably you'd better wait), go for a keep cards tourney or get random packets and sell the cards you are not interested into.

Alright. As usual more games means more experiance and more cards to think about. I always like Sphere of Radiance, but recently I drafted three of them. Three. Turn 1 was two of them. Turn 2 Pass. Turn 3 I already controlled the center. It was amazing. So, considering that it is awesome, I'm thinking of MF and Elemental for building control. I lose Ivory Tower, but that is a mid game card at best. MF also gives me Hederark's Fort, and Volcano. With a good creature list between them (Craig Scout, Sleet Mogi) I think this deck could be alot faster and better. I know the creatures are few in number ;) .

Creatures:

3 Craig Scout
3 Galom's Prospectors
3 Axe Captain
3 Sleet Mogi
1 Epic Veteran
1 Guthulun Tempest

Total: 14

Spells:

3 Sunburst
3 Tremor

Total: 6

Enchantments:

3 Awaken the Stones

Total: 3

Buildings:

3 Dwarven Hall
1 Magma Chamber
2 Vapor Mahal
3 Walled Outpost
2 Haderack's Fort
3 Sphere of Radiance
1 Storm Factory
2 Thunderhead Reach

Total: 18
_________
Decklist Total: 41

Another idea for Sylvan and Elemental is Seat of The Essences with Windreader. Come on, that would be cool :P
