If you can think of any improvements to the user interface please post it here or link to where you suggested before.

larger font size option In "Small Interface" have an option to switch the vertical bar on the right to the left. Or make both bars vertical, to better fit widescreen monitors.

1) for the core game interface, the only way to satisfy everyone is to make the interface flexible. this means enabling resizing, dragging and dropping, and docking/undocking. incidentally, for anyone who hasn't had the misfortune of playing on 1024x768 (or smaller), much of the in-game text is unreadable. zooming the playing field in and then back out renders the graphics even worse. if I had started by playing at this resolution, I would have quit almost immediately.
2) interface setup should be remembered (per user) and replicated for new games.
3) there should be an option to not interleave game text and in-game chat.
4) I learned recently that the data in the market tab is actually frequently invalid (i.e., not backed up by actual cards and/or actual gold.) this is ridiculous and should be easy to fix -- please do! (as it stands now, the market is *very* easy to manipulate, impacting both market and private transactions.)
5) the bug that shows tutorial info to me (and resets my preferences) every time the game crashes ... is annoying.
6) when I ask to sort by rating, please sort by rating ... not rating minus uncertainty.
7) fix the missing user-name bug in guild chat.
8) update EC lobby to distinguish who is actually registered. this will help facilitate betting, help reduce confusion about whether you signed up correctly, and will better let veterans help confused noobs.
9) create a user option to subscribe to more message types. e.g., EC open, zwar/sealed/sharkTank/draft/brass/domain opponent waiting, etc.
10) notify people that zwar/sealed has started. draft and 2v2 at least have the tab titles turn red ... zwar/sealed does ........ nothing. nothing at all.
11) change the army select screen to look more like RTS games ... i.e., slots, teams, "ready", etc. expose this new API to the user-coders.

doiron: nice to see you and also why do you care if the vertical bar is on the left or right in the small UI?

10b. make a noise when someone sends you a message. I just lost my fifth zwar after not knowing it started and getting all cards assigned to me. seriously ... this makes me so mad. I'll start playing again when this is fixed.

1) resizeable Chat windows. 2) possibility to use right click in battle for different actions - I think it's much more handy that clicking on icons. 3) About thin new interface: possibility to enable several (or all) tabs at same time, for example I miss interesting battles, because have tournament tab enabled. I have many free space in that right panel, right not it fills only 50% in tournaments tab, so battles can fit there.

Market suggestions here - I'm rather happy with the battle interface.
1. Sorting in buy/sell tabs: Ata's request for a better default sorting is good, but I think the best thing is not resetting the sorting and scroll bar position when a card is added/removed/changed.
2. It would be convenient to have an option to filter my buys/sells based on whether my offer is currently the best. Going over 100-200 buy offers to check if someone made a higher bid is a lot of work (it did make me really good at mentally adding and subtracting 5%, though).
3. When I'm looking at the highest offer / lowest price for a card, I'd rather see the highest offer / lowest price that is not my own. That way, I can see what the competition is doing without having to remove my own bid first. As things are, I believe it is even possible to take up my own offer (both buying and selling). No cards change hands, but I lose the tax. I think this part is a borderline bug.
4. People upthread have mentioned the issue with unbacked offers/cards that are cancelled as soon as you click them. This is problematic for the person trying to get gold for a purchase, only to find that the card they want is gone and the real price is higher. It's also problematic for me as a bidder: Each time my cash in hand surges back after a low, I have to check which cards I'm no longer bidding on, because someone clicked them while I didn't have the cash.
My thought, and I realize this goes beyond UI, is having a "pending but inactive" state for offers/prices. If I bid 50 on a card, and I don't have them, the offer will stay in my buying-tab list, looking like any other offer, but it won't affect the highest offer for the card until I actually have the cash.
This means that every time someone gets/loses gold, the server has to flip the "activity-state" for their offers that are between their new and old cash levels. I'm not sure how much server load this will generate. It doesn't sound like a computationally intensive process, but I'm no expert.

having easy access to the user added scripts is nice. the interface, however, is awkward.
at the very least, make the battle/scenarios/tournaments buttons smaller, into tabs, and located over the UI element they actually affect.
even better, do all of the following:
* make a new tab for scenarios at the lobby/army/market/guild level. it should use the flash grid object and let people filter and sort.
* eliminate the "new battle" element. migrate the items to the "special" section.
* eliminate the "play a tutorial game" option from "special". for new players, this should pop up automatically. for non-new players, they should find it in the scenarios grid.
* eliminate the "create tournament" button -- redundant with custom.
* under "tournaments", consolidate "tournaments", "sealed", and "draft" -- these are all tournaments. move this new section back to the main battle interface but default to collapsed. same with leagues.
* consider splitting this new tournament section into "active tournaments" and "new tournaments".
