You know the reward system is kinda stingy. I'm actually being polite, it's really stingy. There must be 100 solid deck ideas with so many different ways to accomplish them but you can't even get close to anything really competitive. With the current rewards it would be incredibly difficult to grind a phantom common deck. What's up with that?

I also believe removing the gold flow killed the game. Gamers like to grind. There are a thousand crappy mmos with millions of players that prove that! So I'm just suggesting an experiment. For the next two months give away 10x the acorn rewards, and open a league that costs and generously rewards acorns, like 500 to the winner, enough for any card.

Worst case scenario is the phantoms disapear. But I'm 100% confident in this idea. Acorns are a good system and I do see them as the fix that could have saved the game 4 years ago.

Main way to grind acorns is supposed to be playing against other players, since it give 11x more acorns, and since there few any players you can't get enough to actually see how big or small rewards are.
I was doing acorns rewards math based on next numbers (as far as I remember):
you need to win 3x games per day to have enough acorns to keep 60 phantom cards in your collection. 60 cards with average price. I don't remember exact numbers.
Plus every player have several real cards, so you need about 30 cards or less to build average phantoms deck.

I would like to experiment, but right now it is pretty much pointless due to amount of game everyone is playing. So doing this would not represent anything.

And by the way, most replies a had when current system was introduced were positive about acorns amounts.

I respectfully disagree. I can create a new account on League of Legends, I play 3-4 hours and buy a champion that I own, permanently. Yes there are champions that cost 15x as much but they're balanced regardless of price, unlike here because rares are the corner stone to so many of the best decks.

I also might get 100 hours of play out of the champion. You'd have to play 100 hours of the far wilds for just a 20 day deck with god tier cards. Pricing based on "the average card" just doesn't make sense to me since the average card is barely deck worthy.

I also think seeing something like "NOW WITH 10x ACORN FEBRUARY AND MARCH!" is great in game advertisement. It's encouragement to play, grind, etc. Successful games ALWAYs have something going on.

Like I said, it's your show but I disagree.
