No one discovered this cool exploit I thought about last night. Basically you have a Altar of Ix, a Necromancer, a bone Fortress, and a corpse.

Necro makes zombie (cost 2 flux)
Sac zombie on Altar (gain 2 flux)
Fortress gets an extra HP

repeat...

Bone fortress now has as many HP as you care to give it.

But you only have a couple hours to use it :)
After that the necro will only be able to make a zombie once a round.

Aw man Necro is getting nerfed, and hadn't even found the exploit! <-- Now that sucks! :cry:

I think I stumbled across that exploit a few days ago.... But I was hoping it was going to remain undiscovered a little longer. Sad.... ㅠㅠ

Good times, gotta love those infinite loops.

Sadly though against a mountain folk, all those hps wouldn't mean anything. Just one little Ruin or Sinkhole and that ultimate fortress is gone.

This is how the exploit worked before the nerf:
1) Necromancer creates Zombie for 2 flux.
2) Zombie is sacrificed on the Altar of Ix. Player gets 2 flux.
3) Bone Fortress triggers.

I believe that I have found evidence that the loop shouldn't work before the nerf, so I believe the nerf on Necro should be revoked!.
These little bits of information was found in the glossary on the homepage:

"Destroy: Permanent is removed from the game. Any effect that happens on Destroy is triggered. For example when Units are destroyed they create a Corpse."
&
"Sacrifice: Permanent you control is removed from the game. Effects that happen on destroy are not triggered."
Take particular note of the last sentence at sacrifice: "Effects that happen on destroy are not triggered.
This means that point 3 in the exploit should not have worked at all, so the effect of sacrificing a new zombie should look like this:
1) Necromancer creates Zombie for 2 flux.
2) Zombie is sacrificed on the Altar of Ix. Player gets 2 flux.
...and that's it! There is no point 3. Bonefortress(and Soulbroker too) shouldn't trigger upon a sacrifice, it is clearly stated in the glossary that they shouldn't!

Therefore I see no reason for the Nerf on Necromancer, and would like to see him as he was before the Nerf , but bone fortress and Soulbroker should have a closer look!!(If it remains as he is now it will just feel like dark Legion is the black sheep of the family. While the other two sheeps get lots of love, especialy sylvan, dark legion gets very little, and that is sad! Or it can also be compared to Cinderella. Dark legion is cinderella, and Mountainfolk and Sylvan are the two mean stepsisters. Either way it is sad! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: )

Yes, but Cinderalla gets the prince at the end and wins! :)

Based on the wording in the glossary and on the cards, I'd have to agree with you Wicked!
I think the way it's setup/programmed and maybe what the wording actually means is that when a unit is sacrificed if it had any special abilities on being destroyed they don't trigger, like Putrid Zombie and Stalking Spirit. I know those units abilities don't trigger when sacrificed, so that's why I think it's setup that way.

Easiest solution is when we sacrifice unit it's corpse remain on altar (as corpses of units killed by Undead Octopus).
