That I think would be too overpowered. Keep poison simple, yet effective. It can be a quality -- just call it 'poisonous' -- as well as enchantments. If a creature is damaged by another creature that is 'poisonous' then it gets a single poison token. Then at the end of every round, any creatures with poison tokens take 1 damage for every token they have.
And I think that all tokens should be removed if the creature is healed in any way, as mentioned in Altrens above post.
That way, it's not one token for every point of damage, it's just one token if it's damaged at all. Poison on top of your armor wouldnt kill you.also, Sunyaku, I didnt think Komodo Dragons were poisonous... are they?
