Two times, in the past two days, I have been SHAFTED out of a position in the GC finals by the retarded mechanic associated with winning by gaining 20 glory. In both cases I received 20 glory FIRST. In the most recent case I had MORE GLORY and it was still considered a tie. I've attached and labeled the screen shots.
This mechanic is HORRIBLE. Every single aspect of a "draw" or "tie" has been horribly handled! Ties by glory, ties by 3rd/4th place! It's ridiculous. This needs to be fixed before I invest any more money in this game. I've potentially lost almost 100g just from those two instances. Since gold = $$$, I've been cheated for a potential $1 each time. You can't do that shit to (one of the few) customers.
I posted what I think are great suggestions to fix this issue in the time-out thread. If you haven't already, check those out.

we all agree with you. and honestly, this is pretty much the first time it's come up, so you'll just have to be patient while it gets fixed. the devs are very responsive, but overnight is a bit much I agree with what sun said in the other thread; there really shouldn't be any way to tie in a game, it just screws up tournies too much. and there really aren't any good cases where a tie makes sense either. I'm personally for 'whoever gets there first wins', but I admit that the 'play until one person has more glory' also makes some sense.

I have been playing more or less since the beta went public and have never had a tie. Not one. As Doiron said, it is not something that generally comes up... chill out and it will be fixed.
and to say you are "one of the few" customers is rather laughable... seriously...

and to say you are "one of the few" customers is rather laughable... seriously... This is based on the fact that I never see more than 40 people online at a time, the market has been dry of certain cards for about a week, I have been unable to sell any cards for less than the asking price of others and I usually can't find a game searching for "Any Player". I would say my assumptions are valid.

I support either.

40 people online at a time and you can't find a game and consider yourself "one of the few"? we clearly have different standards....
I frequently have to scroll to see all of the people listed in the player pane [[no, I'm not on a 7" monitor]]. Perhaps it is a timing issue?
I'll grant you that the market is dry on some cards, some are just in higher demand than others.. that's the way it works. According to my market history I've sold 23 cards in the last week, I don't know what your issue there is but I'm fairly happy with that.
Your last complaint was that you can't find a game using "find any player", frankly I've never used that feature so I can't really comment there...

Why are you looking to argue with me? I posted a bug, you scoffed at me for saying there are few players. I explained to you why the player base appears small to me, and you continue to argue. Why? I didn't come here to argue with you. I don't even care about the player base right now. You took a small section of a larger, more important post and honed in on it, just to argue. Don't troll me.
Jed: I like the game and don't mind spending extra pocket change here. I am not motivated to play, however, when I know there's a possibility I will be stiffed yet again; I view my gold and card purchases as investments. I build a winning deck, and then I win more gold with it. If my ability to make gold with my decks is hindered by these bugs or faulty mechanics, the investment is no good. Until there's some form of resolution here, my PayPal account will be on hold.

Thanks for the timely reply, Jed. I am very glad to hear that, as I do have a lot of fun playing this game, bugs aside.

By the same token, I think the ability to put the other player into negative glory is a bit much. Taking them down to zero is big enough, going to say -10 glory is just silly and doesn't make sense from a gameplay standpoint (how do you have negative glory? ex: fissure won't let you go negative).
