Less than that just seems... almost demoralizing

weak argument and it is only our opinion
the real fakts are this:
If there are more often tournaments, the player can play to win gold every time in the day, BUT they must play the whole day to get much gold.
If there are not so often tournaments, the player cant play whenever they like,
BUT they can play only some hours per day to get much gold.
what is the better way...?
for me it is the first one, because i dont want have much gold. i would be happy to have to have a own deck.
i play now for 1,5 weeks, my gold is 0. -,-

Yes, I said it was just my opinion when I said "I'd like...". Now you have stated your opinion. So you can see that there are different ways of viewing this and no way to make everyone happy. The current frequency of games is already a compromise; they used to be much further apart but paid more.

sry, what do you mean? is it a adage?
i couldnt understand it.

Sorry, yes. That is a cultural difference getting in the way, and a poor choice of phrase since I knew you were not a native English speaker, I'm sorry. I will explain it in a private message for you if you like..

Actually how about we make a long league where anytime you win a game in the league you get a new card that you can use in that league. This way you can practice deck building, get rewards from playing etc.

I'd be up for trying that out. Sounds fun. Unfortunately, it also seems to give an advantage to the people who are already doing well. Perhaps a card for each game you play, win or lose? Either way I lie it and I'm in, it may not be the most fair though.

Removing the ability to win gold really makes this game totally uninteresting and worst than ConquerOnline...witch basically is pay2win Whats the point of making a total Free2Play-Pay2Win game. i totally agree with sunyaki from page 1

Perhaps as a compromise, make it so that you get one gold per win ONLY when playing the "normal" difficulty AI. I admit it doesn't make sense to earn a bunch of gold by playing league or GC prelim games.

I think things around TFW are going pretty well these days, but if new players got one gold per victory against the AI (maybe even cap it at 50?), then they could start competing against each other in the shark tank, or in other formats that require a small entry fee.

Just a thought anyways.

Something that could use a boost is random queued games - you know, in the lobby where you can select "fight" and then choose "similar player" or "any player".

Why not award 1 gold for winning these matches? The AI is too easy - even on normal difficulty with default decks I can mindlessly defeat them, so I can see that as being a money well.

But if you award the one gold for player vs player skirmishes, it'd really give people something to do. Currently all I do is wait for GC Prelims and play league games, but once you play 12 of those... yeah. So now I sit around a lot.

I'm going to have to chip in and say I completely agree. 1g for a win would help a lot.

there is a complicating factor of course, if it's just person vs person, then there's nothing stopping you from having two accounts and resigning on one. the computer matches at least finish with a victory condition that you can be sure is legit (if too easy). and there's no robust way that I can think of to ensure that one person isn't just gaming the system.

so you can do 1g wins for GC, league, and draft games and games against the normal ai; but that doesn't really fix the issue as described. it would make drafting more popular, at least.

My two cents: I've spent money on new cards, but I wont be spending money on entering tournaments. Now that we're locked out of Free Intro, I need a way to get into Jade, and I don't actually want to spend the money =P

You could just award the gold by playing a "similar player" and not just "any player". That way you can't just make an account and play yourself, because that account would have 0 wins.
