You now earn Phantom Cards when you win games. You have a chance to win any card in the game even rares and odds.
Now people that can't afford to buy cards can make their own decks. These cards will only last for 20 days or so.

I got a Fire Beetle this morning, so there is a chance of rare or uncommon.

since the phantoms cards they play really much people vs the AI (it seems to me) because the AI is weak and they can get "fast" new cards. this reminds me on world of warcraft principle "farming" (you dont need to be good you must only have time to get gold) i think it is a really bad way for the game (or better, not the way i like it) so some solutions?
maybe set the win-card- chance vs a easy AI to 10% and vs a normal 40%??

If we are going to do something along those lines, it would be perhaps better to relate Phantom Card drop percentage to relative ranks. I assume that by now the AI's rank is in the gutter. You could say that at even matched game the chances are 100%, the further above the opponent you are the lower that chance gets of a card.

I think phantom card drop rates are fine the way they are. I have about 200 random cards and that has allowed me to improve a little bit over the defualt decks. If people want to play 100 games every 20 days against the AI so their ladder decks can be a little better that sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

guys i quess you didnt get the point. the problem is not the AI
the problem is that the players play now vs the AI instead of to play with the "human" players, because the AI gives a greater loot compared to the "human" player, because the AI is easier to beat than the human player.(and he always will be) - i would refuse the loot of AI games. - phantom cards are only given by wins against "human" player (never mind where you win against him(free intro, CG, Ladder games, but of course it must be ranked.) so nobody can make a custom game with a friend, start it, and resign iimmediately, only to get the phantom cards
some other solutions?

I haven't noticed that problem, actually. With the advent of the ladder I've seen many more people playing against human players, regardless of the phantom card system.
All the phantom cards do is provide a little extra boost to allow new players to experiment with cards that are not in default decks, and help enhance the decks of players who don't own a lot of cards. In fact, I think it may give new players the confidence to play against other humans, since they can beef up their default decks.
I say: keep it up precisely as it is.
