Why is nothing done about the ladder abuse over (at least) the past four weeks by Ifrit/ReindeerMan/Paladine/Mudsteak/Nimrodman/robot_delinquint? I have been told that "myself" and "alpha_omega" are also part of this blatant fraud.

See games 96326 (vonhauser v Mudsteak), 96327 (vonhauser v Nimrodman), 96328 (vonhauser v ReindeerMan), and 96343 (vonhauser v Nimrodman) -- all were resigned immediately by vonhauser's opponent. In general, if this person cannot get a game against one of their alt accounts, they resign immediately.

And yes, vonhauser is the alternate account I created last week. However, as you can check from the logs, I have never played myself. If you'd like to check my ip, queeshai is my housemate and I have played him no more than three times (possibly not all rated) since we joined a month or two ago.

Oops, failed to mention 96364 (vonhauser v Mudsteak), the game in which s/he managed to get a ladder pairing between two of his/her alts before I could request another sim. This one was also resigned immediately.

Well i think you can take my name from that list first of all. I am no way affiliated with any of those people. And if you wanna start calling people out i have screenshots of Vonhauser (whom you say you are) playing at least 3 people at once. Strangely one person has been playing for quite a while longer than KP who has beeen playing for a few weeks now from what i hear....yet this person logs on and gets beat by kp then logs off immediately. i find it hard to believe you are beating 3 people at once one of these people i know is quite a good player. Ive also heard many rumors that Vonhauser is a ladder abuser as well. Im sure im not the only one who would suspect this. Also 1 of the 3 people was pancit who we all know has been abusing the ladder as well over the past few weeks. Would you care to comment on how its possible that you can defeat 3 people at once one being a known ladder abuser , and one being a pro as youve only been playing for maybe 3 weeks. i guess those 4k ladder points are just skill. well im glad to know youre that good. we should play sometime. Heres to you since you think this game revolves around you.

Funny Fact: there are 24268 registered accounts. That seems quite a lot considering there are only some 20 players online on average and the game is just a bit over a year old (I've been around from May 2009 so I might be wrong here)?

Ive said it a billion times already, the ladder is the worst thing to have happened to TFW.

also before someone goes "its supposed to help newbies" how come lower rankings have to battle like 5 places up for 1g change of their winnings while the top is 10g per place? No newbie is gonna go to top. He will lose interest in the game loooong before that.

Well, like I said in an earlier related thread, if you discover a loophole, incredible combo or something else to unfairly manipulate the game in some way, the quickest way to get it changed is to abuse the hell out of it.

Someone explain to me how the same 2 people (johnj and LyssaB) are playing 3 games against each other at the same time. LyssaB also resigned to me twice w/o playing a card within 5 minutes of this screenshot.

Ha.I only know one of the players on that list, but it appears to be a list of people from the top of ladder.However, it would appear you forgot a name,one "vonhauser".If the rest of the top 5 all got where they are due to abuse, how could a lowly non abuser get 2nd place through no dishonest means whatsoever?I find this odd.But then again, if you would've listed vonhauser on your list of abusers, it would have been rather self incriminating, and we don't want any of that.
All I have to say, is get the plank out of your own eye first .
That said,I do think the ladder system needs a change, and a few good changes have been suggested previously but obviously are not going to be implemented.So I guess as sunny would say, these guys are doing us a favor.If they jack around with the ladder enough, maybe it will get some attention.

As a "rebel" noob, I second the general sentiment of your comment. I have no idea who is cheating, so not throwing stones here. But I do believe there are peeps ruining this aspect of the game for the rest of us. I wish we could send a sith assassin to hunt them down for a mere 2 domain and 2 flux. That would be righteous!
