Well, it seems that this was changed, and EC's are now exactly 8:00 hours apart.
Unless there is some reason to prefer a specific schedule, I join Pug's suggestion that the time between EC's should not exactly divide 24 hours. This is regardless of whether the general ballpark is 5 hours, 8 hours, or anything else.

i have a few suggestions to make.

1. More Ecs which is the idea right. I think Ecs should be every 6.0 hours on the dot. That makes it 4 Ecs a day and would allow me to play 2 a day versus 1.

- if this means less power i agree with others suggestions of 3/2/1.

2. New players need to be able to get gold SOMEHOW. First of New players dont play Ecs so they dont even really matter for keeping new players. The only problem i see is manipulation of accounts to profit on Noob rewards. I wish there was some way around it. I had an idea of offering an option to retain certain phantoms at the expense of trading in multiple phantoms back to the game. That way new players could keep the phantoms they need but it would cost them more phantoms in return. Only problem is....this would benefit everyone. Any suggestion to make it for only Inexperienced players would be nice. maybe make it based on rating. but also make it so u can only keep a phantom card 1 time with this option. and u can only keep so many per week.

3. Personal Achievements seems like a cool idea. Maybe we could make it an Achievements list like......Most Ecs or most Mcs won in a week or something to that degree. Then top 3 players enter a lottery to win "something" not sure what. i think this idea would help motivate players to play Ec more often. Prizes of course would be up to Jed. Im not sure what his standards are.

Well, trading phantoms for other phantoms wouldnt benefit me too much because I can afford to trade and maintain up to 3-4 competitive decks. So.. I dont see things that way. I think its a great idea. If a newb could get 2 more legs of baba yaba and a 2 more spiked tower he would have a deck capable of earning power.

So what would be then a point of owning cards?
I'd always just get all phantoms from my dozen ladder abusing clones to make up a shiny deck kicking everyone else (just a top deck )....
