Spawned crushing wheel on a mountain space that cost 3 speed. Was unable to attack an adjacent creature that was on a hill square that cost 2 speed. I understand not being able to move from a 1 speed zone into a 3 speed zone, or I can even understand not being able to move from a 1 speed zone into a 2 speed zone, but shoudn't you be able to roll the stone "downhill"?

I've had numerous times where I can't move that figure because of its speed. It's really a bummer.

Unfortunately, if you say you can roll a stone downhill, you could also say you can roll yourself downhill.. ;)

Point taken--

But I still contend that rolling a boulder-like object down a hill is much different than a 'creature' rolling down a hill.

If we really wanted to make this complicated, I would like to think you should be able to move further than one space when going down hill... as the object converts the potential energy of a high place into kinetic acceleration. So if you started at a '4' mountain, rolled down to a 3 mountain, then to a 2 hill, and then onto a 1 plain, I think you should be able to do this all in one movement.

IMHO anyways. :-)

Just had a thought--

It's too bad it couldn't just have "hover" if it was moving from a high space to a lower space. That could solve a big part of the problem.

:-)

Yeah, and based off the picture for Crushing Wheel you'd suspect that it could move one space regardless of terrain cost. ;)
